Putting an ice maker in any fridge reduces its reliability, though Electrolux wasn’t high on that list before you factored in the ice maker. That does not help me now. Before you assume the ice maker is broken, open up the back of the fridge and see if the water inlet water filter is clogged. If that’s filling up with hard water scale, you’ll have decreased water pressure to the ice maker. In short, you think it is a water supply problem. I am assuming you have it connected properly, and didn’t just leave the cap on the water inlet valve in place when it was set up. If there’s a water leak to the ice maker , you’ll notice it. I do not have a big puddle on the floor. Do you have a big frozen mess in the freezer? Water hoses to the ice maker leaking into the freezer will lead to a freezer full of ice and less ice or water coming out the dispenser. It makes more noise and less ice.
